The client intended to create a space which exudes a sense of calm to its patrons. The idea was to create a beer garden which is a perfect spot for an informal evening spent in socializing with friends. The challenge was to tell a story to the guests through a dramatic space. Through the use of a balanced combination of colours, textures, illumination and overall circulation, the designers have attained an easy going vibe. The earthy tones of wood and brick and the polished granite disperse the warm lighting of the chandeliers. The quirky use of blues, posters and metallic fixtures give an interesting view from each seating. The interior seamlessly flows into the exterior open space. The soft scape of the exterior is in tune with the central hardscape of the overall design. The multi utility seating accommodates the varying footfalls over the week. By placing a stage and a dedicated bar at opposite ends of the open area makes the space visually exposed, without restricting the head movement to just one direction. Being a brewery, the location of fermentation room and storage room was critical. Placing it right at the entrance gives the guests a direct view of the area creating an intimate relation between them and the bar
