Project Info:
The client envisioned a structure indicative of his business in terms of presentation and size. The client’s vision for the office was to create a visual identity that resonated with the core utility of the structure. Keeping this in mind, the architecture of the office of the maritime company was inspired from a ship sailing the ocean. The material used in the construction gives the building the look of the exterior of a ship. A modern looking façade has been designed using aluminium cladding louvers which makes the design light, easy to install and have a long life. With a downward tapering design, the floor plates follow a circular pattern with the lifts and staircases strategically located in the centre. A thick and shady landscape provides covered seating areas around the construction. The paving and seating benches follow the recurring wave pattern of the structure. Safety measures and service areas have been incorporated in the structure without breaking away from the basic theme.
