SBA Office

As an office of an architectural firm, our office had to inspire creativity and innovative ideation as well as showcase the strong technical side of our profession. The design had to represent our principles of moving away from excess and flamboyance through its language, elements, and tonality. Through the use of steel, exposed concrete and glass set the industrial tone of the space. Wall installations composed of metal bars and wires added the quirk and gave respite from the formal setting. Workstations are minimal and apt for open discussions. Cabins of the principal architects reflect their personal sense of designing owing to the years of experience. The floor plan opens to a double height gallery area with floor length glass overlooking the busy street below. A great visual connect, throughout the office, is achieved through transparencies and proportions. With the use of bright task lights and overhead fixtures, a combination of warm hue is achieved across the space. And plants at the entrance, workplace and outside gallery freshens up the ambiance, add the element of landscape and give of the strong sense of SBA’s true appreciation for nature in every project.
