For the Radisson Blu property located in Alibaug, the client wanted the guests to feel comfortable and relaxed as they experience ample greenery and earthy tones of the space right from the entrance. The idea was to cut the guest off the hustle and bustle of the outside world and provide them with an individual space for a holistic and luxurious experience nestled in nature. Keeping this in mind, the area is designed into three zones. The first zone, the parking, and entrance act as a buffer as the visitor enters the ambiance of serenity of the property. Landscaped traffic islands separate the parking and vehicular area from the rest of the property. At the entrance foyer stands a majestic water feature with a stone finish. The second zone is a space for holistic healing and relaxation. It houses a spa and Ayurvedic villas surrounded by lawns and a golf course. A lotus pond and a wooden bridge let the guests admire the nature around. The third zone comprises of a reflection pool and a swimming pool which cascades into a shallow foot wash and the kids' pool, is a recreational zone. A sunken bar and timber deck let the guests spend a calming time in the presence of water. Indigenous plants have been chosen for the plush plantation that reflects the tropical theme. Natural materials like rough cut stones can be seen in various installations. Every detail from the signages to the light fittings brings out the natural feel of the property.
